ScramWorks is a haphazard collection of projects and "cool" stuff that I've been involved with, often in association with Shonky Internet. Much like the people at Shonky Internet all the stuff I do is non-profit, because my day job tends not to like me having other jobs. Also I'm really not very good at the whole business thing, or "monetisation" as I believe it's called these days, far simpler to just not even try to make money.
Truth be told I suspect many of the projects I've got involved with wouldn't make money even if they tried. Wiser heads likely wouldn't have undertaken them in the first place, fortunately I try not to make a habit of paying any attention to such sensible views.
Having ruled out sensible, useful and worthwhile projects I'm left doing the fun and interesting stuff that everyone else has thought better of. Especially if it doesn't involve content or user interfaces. I'm not good with user interfaces, my idea of a friendly interface is one which doesn't make my eyes bleed, burn down my house and then say rude things about me. I do most of my work in Vi ( not vim ).
Just in case you haven't worked it out I should just reiterate that ScramWorks is not by any stretch of the imagination anything even close to anything even remotely resembling a consultancy or proper venture. There really is no point in even thinking about asking about getting work done by us (unless it involves burning things). That said if you like the things we've done and fancy sending beer do feel free.
